On my machine I run both FreeNX and X2go. I am not 100% sure this is no problem.

Oh, and I've had the problem with both the gtk and qt clients.
I've gone as far as to fire up one of the keyboard applications which light up the key on a display on screen when you press a key on the keyboard. It's obviously getting confused.
Anyone solve this issue yet?

Alex has done a fix for this problem which will be part of the update 3.01. This will be released soon and will contain further features like rdp tunneling (configuration inside x2goclient), desktop icon generation assistant and lxde support. There will also be a new installation option called "x2goserver-one (One Node Edition". This option will be released as metapackage, which will be configuring x2goserver automatically. In this option SQLight instead of Postgresql will be used. So please be patient, we'll try to release the new version soon!

Here my wishlist for further development:
I see very much activity in /var/log/auth.log: I don't like that, and I think another way is possible.
A configuration file for the server where I can change things like the loglevel.
A file where I can put commands to be executed in the session, e.g. for changing the umask or keyboard-settings. A command like ". ~/.x2gorc" in it can make this individual too, e.g. for changing the "$LANG" environment variable.
