I have an IGEPv2 board which I'd like to test x2goclient on. I've installed Ubuntu Maverick ARM on it, but I couldn't find any binary packages for it, so I thought I'd compile it myself. However, I only received error messages. I was hoping someone could provide some instructions on how to compile on this platform?
TIA,

There is a good dev-webpage by ubuntu for this. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ARM
But dont expect a straightforward move on this. It's still tricky to work out the dependencies. Another reason why x2go-dev is not precompiled by some distributions might be the lack of hardware.
Cheers

Thanks for your response. Yes, I wasn't expecting precompiled binaries of x2goclient on Ubuntu ARM, though I think that platform is worth the attention.
I have also read the documents on compiling software for Ubuntu, but when I followed these instructions to the letter, I was given some errors. I wish I had those outputs here so I could show you, but I don't.
If somebody has experience with compiling x2goclient on Ubuntu (any arch), I'd appreciate a step-by-step guide so that I can see if I'm doing something wrong or if there are bugs that needs to be addressed. Using Ubuntu ARM with LXDE and X2go on the IGEPv2, seems like a perfect thinclient solution, but it needs to be tested. I will make all my experiences available, and I think the combination of ARM and Linux should be interesting to lots of people.
Thanks,
