I either get following message: "The remote proxy closed the connection while negotiating the session. This may be due to the wrong authentication credentials passed to the server"

"The connection with the remote server was shut down. Please check the state of your network connection."

-- OR -- It crashes with the following...:

continue normal x2go session

Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Note that this behaviour occurs with all Ubuntu builds... The old lenny based build works fine.
