Hi,
not sure if everyone is reading slashdot, so http://slashdot.org/stories/gateone might be worth a visit. This fellow coded a SSH terminal emulator in HTML5/JavaScript and is adding X11 support as well.

Hi, Mike
keep us informed.
That will be the missing piece and faster way to have x2go running on Android Tablets ;)

Okay, just some days back I have seen a vnc-client in html5 which blew me away. But thinking of an x2go-client in the browser actually gives me certain feelings :-)
Have fun,
Arnold

I have contacted upstream and I have some first infos (still need to
reply back). It is not yet clear if the X11 implementation will be
free software. The code is currently not available in public. But the
developer of Gate One is really passionate about his work and it feels
like a good contact.
So far so good, so let's see... Mike
PS: /me waves _o/ at Daniel (Gate One upstream dev) in case he finds
this post on the net somewhere somewhen... ;-)
