The others are ready-only anyway (no one can post via mailman, either).

What I miss is the announce list, what should be read-only.

I prefer normal mail adresses (but I am not sure this can give more spam for people who are posting).

That was my reason for obfuscation. More opinions on this?

Thanks for doing that. I will wait for the last edit requests I have
sent to GMANE to take effect (rw access to x2go-dev, x2go-user) and
after that, I will request non-obfuscation for all lists (if I do not
here anything sceptical anymore).

I have asked at Gmane for x2go-user, x2go-dev to become read-writable. About the mail obfuscation I really would love to have more comments, maybe someone can contribute Gmane experiences that relate to SPAM?

In the past, I've seen a number of legitimate URLs that looked like email addresses and got scrambled by this obfuscation method. Needless to say that this is an effective way to make the urls unusable to everyone.
