Hello, all. We are eagerly anticipating installing X2Go in our CentOS / Ubuntu Karmic VServer environment in this coming week. We are evaluating our X2Go options and are a little unclear about the exact differences between X2GoServer-Home and X2GoServer-One. Could someone please explain the difference? Thanks - John
Hello John,
both are metapackages. x2goserver-one will configure x2goserver to use a sqlight database instead of postgresqql. So with the added sudo entries a installation without user interaction is possible. x2goserver-home is a metapackage containing all modifications needed for ubuntu - at the moment there are none. In the past we've changed the whole project to keep compatible to ubuntu. This had some side effects on the main project we'll don't wan't to happen again. Both packages are installing a single server setup, which fits perfectly in virtual machines.
best regards,
Heinz
