I've not seen this problem yet but I don't use my Windows 7 x2go client as much as my linux client.
Just to not overlook the obvious... maybe this is a Windows 7 problem? I thought to go search for reported problems with Windows 7 and found the following:

My mouse pointer disappears after a few minutes of inactivity. When I toucih the mouse pad, a square appears with little blue dots appears for a second or two, then goes away. The mouse pointer at this point may or may not re-appear. If not, it takes a lot of moving the mouse around to get the pointer back.
I know there is a trick, if you turn on mouse trails and set the trails to the lowest setting, it never disappears. BUT I have certain games which do not work with mouse trails on.
I don't know if the above is some "well-known" solution or not but that message lead me to Microsoft's own site and a search for "Windows 7 disappearing mouse" which returns many people reporting the problem:
Whatever the solution for those of you having the problem I'd first see if the general Microsoft population is reporting the problem using some of the same hardware or Windows 7 settings that you have. Perhaps that will lead to a solution.
