What's weird about this is that vcxsrv is not stored there, as I'm running the client from a mapped network drive. The vcxserv directory under C:\Program Files doesn't exist, and an ordinary user doesn't have write permissions there, so if x2goclient would create this folder during its run, it should display the UAC prompt, which it doesn't - so I think it is safe to assume that it doesn't attempt to create this folder.
So what is this entry good for?

Hi Stefan, It is a location where X2Go Client will look for alternative X-Server in the case if you don't want to use an "integrated" X-Server. If checkbox "Use integrated X-Server" in X-Server settings is checked, this option will be ignored.
