Sorry, your new version has the same error on OS X 10.7.3. I can test 10.5.8 later. Here is the log output:

Please do me a favor and try this build: http://www.ionic.de/x2goclient-git-1e13d3578f.dmg It features a new way of connecting the local X11 servers (via UNIX socket instead of TCP.) Report back, if this fixes your problem.
