The wiki has this really awesome function called "search". You should really try that! It's in the upper right corner, and if you write some words like "ubuntu" and "nightly" into the box it actually finds the information you are looking for.
Sorry, for the sarcastic tone, but this is free software and we all get no money for supporting you. I think it is pretty rude of you to not only not try to find the information yourself, but actually requesting a solution on the mailing list in an not very friendly tone.

Hi, myself and all other members:
I can run the lubuntu using in the client, custom desktop as ‘lxsession -s Lubuntu’.
Im not sure if its the best way to do... I have very recently added a new x2goserver add-on package to the latest code. The current x2goserver code does not run scripts in /etc/X11/Xsession.d. However, these scripts are often used for ,,desktop branding/profiling''.
Please try an installation of this new add-on package: ,,x2goserver-xsession'' from the nightly build repositories of X2Go: http://wiki.x2go.org/wiki:nightly-built_packages_debian_ubuntu
... and let us know if the installation of that add-on package will result in LXDE starting as Lubuntu desktop (that is: without the way you have described above, just by choosing LXDE as a desktop session).
