Hi Mike, attached patch allows the x2go client to be installed without requiring the ssh server on Debian. Please apply if you see fit. The openssh-client package is available in lenny already. Cheers, -- Guido
unfortunately, x2goclient needs an SSH server on the client (for reverse tunneling of locally shared sshfs folders. Ahh...I see. I didn't share folders and the rest worked as expected. Would adding openssh-server as recommends instead of depends be a solution? It would get installed by default then but one would be able to remove it. See attached patch. It be great if one could run x2go without a ssh server installed.
Good idea! Including the x2go-dev list in our dialog (needs subscription, hosted at http://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/x2go-dev).
Fixed with latest nightly built package... Thanks a lot for applying this! -- Guido
