Package: x2godesktopsharing
Version: 3.1.1.2-0~154~ubuntu14.04.1
Test in latest stable ( 3.1.1.1-0~131~ubuntu14.04.1) and latest nightly (3.1.1.2-0~154~ubuntu14.04.1)
Issue: x2godesktopsharing dont work, when a user try to connect with a user with desktop sharing enabled, the list of session appear but try to "View Only" or "Full Access", "Access denied from user" appear directly, in the destination session dont appear any allow popup.
All users are in the x2godesktopsharing and x2gousers groups.
No need to put people into group "x2gouser". If there (still) is a group "x2gousers", please remove it. It was necessary with very old versions of X2Go Server.
Is this true? The x2goserver.spec and debian/x2goserver-common.postinst in x2goserver master still creates it and uses it. Although x2goserver-common.preinst seems to indicate that it can be removed.
You need x2gouser:x2gouser (user and group) for the X2Go Server when it runs with SQLite session DB backend. No users should be in group x2gouser. It is a primary group only and it is required (group nogroup/nobody is no alternative).
You don't need group x2gousers (plural). This group got created by some ancient x2goserver packages (before the RPM era).
No normal system users must be put in any of the above named groups. For group x2gousers it does not matter, but for group x2gouser it causes a security issue (direct access to the sessions DB file).
