I haven't tried it, but it should work by setting file ownership and permissions accordingly and adding the users to different groups.
- Is the a way to configure x2oserver to accept only "published applications" without any desktop environment ?
The easiest way would be to uninstall the DE on the server. ;-) Of course, that may have unwanted side effects for your particular use case.
