We are currently testing the latest Mac client (3.1.0-4) on a laptop running Snow Leopard after installing and deinstalling an older version which didn't work The changelog says the compability is fixed with this release.
The problem is we don't get a connection with this client : The client says X11 could not be found, but X11 has already been started (xterm is running). X11 also can be found by the client.
Has anybody got the client running in Snow Leopard ? If so, what did you have to do to get the client running ?
Many thanks in advance,
Jasper van der Marel Stone-IT
Hello Jasper,
I've just tested it and the client is working fine on my macbook. I've activated "identify connetions" and "allow network connections" in X11. This setup should normally work.
regards,
Heinz
