Well, this is not only Linphone in fact ...
I get some new (apparently related) bug here. This time, it is easily reproducible :
Within your X2Go session :
- on MATE Desktop (tried with both 1.12 which is shipped with Ubuntu 16.04 and 1.16 from the PPA repo), open Chromium browser maximized
- then open another smaller window, might be Caja or anything else (tried Linphone, VLC, Pluma, ...), the window opens in front of the Chromium window
- click on the chromium window to bring it to the front
- try to bring the window behind to the front by clicking in the task panel at the bottom of the screen ... the button blink but the window don't come to the front (Chromium stay in front)
- only way to make it visible is to minimize Chromium
When you do that, you get that message in .xsession-errors :
Avertissement du gestionnaire de fenêtres : last_user_time (1517931) is greater than comparison timestamp (2416812277). This most likely represents a buggy client sending inaccurate timestamps in messages such as _NET_ACTIVE_WINDOW. Trying to work around... Avertissement du gestionnaire de fenêtres : 0x2800001 (Google –) appears to be one of the offending windows with a timestamp of 1517931. Working around...
