we would still require nxproxy, which requires various NX libraries and a working X11 server, which I don't see coming to Android anytime soon.

That's really important. With my management hat on, this is a critical direction decision. X2Go and portable computing are a perfect match but the platform is going to shift away laptop/netbook though not completely. Thanks for digging these out, Phil - John
