I agree that this sounds misleading.
However, don't those builds depend on certain packages in EPEL?
If so, then have language like:
These packages require some packages from the Fedora EPEL repo, as well as replaces the versions of the X2Go packages from Fedora EPEL.
But I really want it clear that there are Fedora EPEL X2Go packages and there are X2Go provided packages for EL, and they are different.
the X2Go packages we build against RHEL+EPEL indeed depend on EPEL. For RHEL5+6 they don't work with vanilla RHEL (not tested, but we depend on quite some recent third-party software with some packages).
Can you please fix the corresponding page on the wiki yourself? I am fine with those changes and they will provide more clarity.
Please also add the information, that distro-native packages are also available and that they should be preferred. The EPEL/Fedora packaging we do (from my side) mainly focuses on development snapshots for those distros and for short-cutting review/packaging cycles in the official distro archives.
You may also add such similar information to [2] (?).

I've made some changes, mainly to http://wiki.x2go.org/doku.php/wiki:development:nightly-builds?nightly_builds_for_rhel
If you want to change the language of [1] and [2] above to change the emphasis to using the distribution/EPEL provided packages I'll let you do that.
