Paul did you sort out your problems with resolution?

I tested connecting, not to local host but to an Amazon EC2 instance, and the text was the same size regardless of the resolution. I tested with 600x800, 1280x1024 and fullscreen with the Qt client.

Nice to hear there are more people ;-)

Hmm, look-likes my problems with the resolution.

I have not tried to launch only an application, interesting to know that
that is possible.

I use Lenny as client and server. My tests where even to localhost ;-)

I don't think so. I have no Compiz installed here.

I like Debian, because it has security support for much more
applications then Ubuntu. And because I like the Debian community a bit
more then the Ubuntu-community.

I've seen it, but the latest messages are from a few month ago too.
And I think this is strange when there is a brand-new X2go version, not
even an announcement for the new version.

I speak German, no problem for me, but I think it's not a good idea to
have a German list, because there are many people who do not understand
German, and all IT-people do speak some English.

Further, I don't like forums. Best would be a mailinglist with
integrated forum, but I don't know software what can do that...
