Okay, I think I fixed all the issues I reported in my original posting, save for this one:
The same message notes that you can use a GPG key or a GPG smartcard to authenticate when using "hidden mode". It does not mention the SSH public key/ssh-agent methods, even though they work just as well. Or maybe you meant that while calling it a GPG key in the message (I've never used GPG-based authentication, so I'm not sure if it requires a smartcard or not)? Anyways - it should be written as "GPG-Smartcard" and "GPG-Schlüssel" or "SSH-Schlüssel" (depending on which one you meant).
It would help if someone could tell me if there is such a thing as "GPG key authentication" in addition to the GPG smartcard authentication, or if this should be referring to a SSH public key/private key pair.
Sadly, nobody replied to my question above. So I'm posting the file with the remaining fixes here, before it gets outdated...
