X2Go issue #619 (src:x2goserver) reported by you has been fixed in X2Go Git. You can see the changelog below, and you can check the diff of the fix at:

The issue will most likely be fixed in src:x2goserver (4.0.1.16).

Pick x2gogetagentstate from 4.1.0.0 release series and adapt to  

usage with X2Go Server 4.0.1.x. (Fixes: #619).

This seems to be working now, thanks.

I have deployed the latest version (upcoming 4.0.1.16) of the
release/4.0.1.x branch to several machines now and I am happy with
that (it seems).

I guess I will release X2Go Server 4.0.1.16 later today. I will wait
till you people from across the Atlantic have got up and checked your
mails ;-).

If any of you (Mike#2, Orion, Alex, ...) have a veto on releasing
4.0.1.16, please ping me before 15h UTC+2.
