Package: pyhoca-gui Version: 0.5.0.0-pre02 Severity: wishlist For those familiar with PortableApps, the title says it all. For those unfamiliar, note that PortableApps is more than just "here's a portable edition of your app." There is a framework you have to integrate with. The issue was originally fixed upstream, but obviously fails to work properly. Package: pyhoca-cli Version: 0.5.0.2 I'm using Archlinux and installed pyhoca-cli package from AUR. Previously I used x2goclient and created several profiles there. Also I tried to use pyhoca-gui but it has the same error (bug #1158). Bug#1094: When connected to a x2go server that has nVidia's binary drivers most software will segfault.

Package: x2goserver Version: 4.0.1.19 When I connect to a x2go server that has an nVidia GPU using nVidia's binary drivers most software (such as Firefox, Thunderbird, Cheese, Transmission GUI etc.) will segfault on launch. This can seemingly be fixed by setting the LD_LIBRARY_PATH variable to wherever the nVidia drivers are (i.e. for nVidia-361 drivers just run LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/nvidia-361" in the server's terminal. Alternatively it seems that you can switch to the Noveau driver and the issue won't occur, but this might not always be an option. There's also a thread on ubuntuforums (https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2337814) that also has a video of this bug in action. I'm using Ubuntu 16.04 with MATE.

Bug#1022: x2goserver fails to start with most recent Ubuntu 16.04 updates (20160408)

Package: x2goserver Version: 4.0.1.19-010640ubuntu16.04.1 With the most recent updates to Ubuntu 16.04 (moving kernel to 4.4.0-18-generic Apr 6) x2goserver suddenly fails to start. The relevant error message in .xsession-x2go-errors is: 13 XSession-x2go: X session started for ddd at Fri Apr 8 17:52:25 EDT 2016 14 localuser:ddd being added to access control list 15 /etc/x2go/Xsession: 3: [: x: unexpected operator 16 mate-session[3684]: GLib-GIO-CRITICAL: g_settings_schema_source_lookup: assertion 'source != NULL' failed 17 mate-session[3684]: GLib-GIO-ERROR: No GSettings schemas are installed on the system 18 aborting... I have Ubuntu 16.04 installed on a physical machine and also as a KVM virtual machine. In each case after the most recent updates x2goserver fails to start with the same message as above.

Note that it is based on the "fedora" image, which is a very minimal install of Fedora. Also note that "start.sh" simply adds a user account named "user" with a fixed password. When I connect to a new TERMINAL session (which defaults to lxterminal), the session appears to work fine. However, at the end, I often receive an exception like: x2go.x2go_exceptions.X2GoSessionRegistryException: No session found for UUID a2f17c6e-fe14-11e4-8e21-001a4a1bd601 I am using this command to connect: pyhoca-cli --server 127.0.0.1 -p 50000 -N --user user --add-to-known-hosts --libdebug --debug See attachment for output. This bug is reproducible, but not 100% of the time. It seems to be related to timing. It is usually reproduced when I leave lxterminal open for 10 seconds. (I close lxterminal by typing "exit" or clicking the X in the window decoration.) It is usually NOT reproduced when I leave lxterminal open for 2 seconds.

Bug#323: x2go server refuses client with 'Error: Wrong version or invalid session authentication cookie.'

Package: x2goserver Version: 4.0.1 x86_64, CentOS 6.4, kernel 2.6.32-358.18.1.el6.centos.plus.x86_64 (also x2go version 4.0.1.6 (self-compiled) on the same platform) Problem: After a server OS lockup and reboot, the previously working x2goserver would not allow client connections from Mac, Linux, Windows. After re-installing x2gserver (x2goserver-4.0.1.6-1.1.x86_64) and x2goagent (x2goagent-3.5.0.20-4.1.x86_64), it refused to connect with the client-side message: === Session: Starting session at 'Fri Oct 11 18:11:36 2013'. Info: Connecting to remote host 'localhost:31030'. Info: Connection to remote proxy 'localhost:31030' established. Error: The remote NX proxy closed the connection. Error: Failure negotiating the session in stage '7'. Error: Wrong version or invalid session authentication cookie. Session: Terminating session at 'Fri Oct 11 18:11:37 2013'. Session: Session terminated at 'Fri Oct 11 18:11:37 2013'. === (dont know if this is complete since the popup only lasts 2s.) This error has been cited multiple times in various fora and lists, but no one seems to have been able to solve it. I can passwordlessly ssh to both servers just fine from other Linux clients. If I don't use the ssh keys, I can enter my password and the result is the same. The server seems to be initializing the session since if I try to log in multiple times, there are new sessions listed, but I'm not allowed to connect to them. I can only terminate or suspend them. Terminating them does appear to work since they are not listed on following sessions if I do. The problem does seem to be related to authentication or authorization; we use ldap-based auth on the server and it's working fine otherwise, except for x2go. Bug#1010: Slow repaint on window move (single application)

Package: x2goclient Version: 4.0.5.1 When connecting in single application mode, and you move the window by dragging the title bar, the app freezes. If you have two windows open, you see on the windows behind the top window a very slow repaint (up to a minute, depends on how long you moved the window before). After repaint, the app works again. This issue does not happen, if you maximize/restore the window or move them to another monitor via keyboard shortcut. Please see the attachment. I moved the xterm from the middle to the right, i took the screenshot while the very long repaint process. With this bug, the single app mode is nearly useless. I'm using XFCE4 on Arch Linux.
