Bug#651: x2goclient segfault on update to 4.0.3 on ubuntu 14.04

Package: x2goclient Version: 4.0.3 hi x2go developers, I have x2goclient 4.0.3 (latest updates) on an Kubuntu 14.04 client, connecting to a server running x2goserver 4.0.1.16 on Ubuntu 12.10. " Segmentation fault (core dumped) I tried to fix this by removing my .x2goclient directory and manually re-entering the server details but this failed. I have fixed this by copying the binary x2goclient 4.0.2.1 (from /usr/local/bin on the server) to my home directory (~/bin on the client) and now I am running this instead with no problems. The "SQLite" error line is no longer reported. Something is crocked in the new 4.0.3! :) cheers rob

Bug#647: Mac client cannot find X server in OSX 10.10 (Yosemite)

Package: x2goclient I am running the Aug 8th version of the Mac Client on the OSX 10.10 preview and get an error when I try to connect to a server. I've attached a screen shot of the error and below is taken from ~/.x2go/S-jmeppley-.../sessions: Socket: PANIC! Failed to resolve address of '/private/tmp/com.apple.launchd.bZMPGSaE78/org.macosforge.xquartz'. Loop: PANIC! Unknown display host '/private/tmp/com.apple.launchd.bZMPGSaE78/org.macosforge.xquartz'. X11 version: "XQuartz 2.7.7 (xorg-server 1.15.2)" The x2go server is running on Ubuntu 12.04 server package versions: x2goserver: "4.0.1.15-0~847~ubuntu12.04.1" x2goserver-xsession: "4.0.1.18-0~949~ubuntu12.04.1" nxagent: "2:3.5.0.27-0~446~ubuntu12.04.1" I can connect to the same server using OSX 10.9 with no errors.

Bug#647: Works with XQartz/X11 2.7.8 beta and x2go server update

I upgraded the x2go server to 4.0.1.18-0~949~ubuntu12.04.1 and X11 on the client to the Beta release. The connection works now. It still works if I roll back to X11 2.7.7.

Bug#475: same problem with 4.0.2.1 on Yosemite

I see to have the same problem on x2goclient v4.0.2.1, running on Macosx/Yosemite causes high cpu on server Desktop used LXDE, connection works fine but the openbox executable uses lots of cpu. Running x2goclient on Window/Linux has no problem using the same server. Package: x2goclient Version: 4.0.2.0 Observed on Commit 5d7d9966198d64ce7846c4f65706f9e9e178e8d7 (Fri, 28 Feb 2014 13:02:50 +0000 (14:02 +0100)) X2Go Client 4.0.2.0 HEAD failed to build from source. I am using the standard setup which has worked for 4.0.1.3: mingw32 4.4 QT 4.8.5 X2Go-WinBuilder VM (WIn7 64-bit SP1) See attached logs. They are what happens when I run the last 2 commands mentioned in this list: $ cd x2goclient $ PATH=%PATH%;D:\MinGW\libexec\gcc\mingw32\4.4.0\ $ config_win.bat $ mingw32-make >From this page: http://wiki.x2go.org/doku.php/wiki:development:build-howto-mswin:x2goclient Note that there are errors in both config_win.bat's output, and in mingw32-make's output. And they seem to be related to resources.rcc not finding files.
