Bug#873: suggestion for how to handle Xinerama from NX 3.6.x in X2Go

Hi Mihai, hi Alex, the new RandR based Xinerama is about to be merged to the nx-libs 3.6.x branch. Here are some ideas how to make the feature addressable in X2Go. 1. X2Go Client can server-side query x2gofeaturelist, it outputs the string X2GOAGENT_RANDRXINERAMA. If that string is in x2gofeaturelist, then the new Xinerama code is present in x2goagent/nxagent. 2. We are about to add a xinerama={0,1} NX option for the NX options file (Ulrich is probably reviewing right now...). This should be used through NX proxy (I guess) for setting up Xinerama in X2Go Agent. It works on session startup and session resumption. 3. One can disable Xinerama completely via cmdline switch for x2goagent: -disablexineramaextension. My suggestion is: o you keep the xinerama.conf file with X2GOAGENT_RANDRXINERAMA, but put "enabled" or "disabled" into it o the "enabled" switch is rather for human beings, because the real enabling takes place via NX options o if "disabled" is set, then x2gostartagent should notice that and add -disablexineramaextension Also, -disablexineramaextension should be added (commented out, of course, thus for reference) to /etc/x2go/x2goagent.options. So far from Uli's and Mike's Xinerama hacking frontier... Well, looking at the source of the current libxfixes (of Ubuntu Trusty) I can find no XFIXES version 6 code. Bug#1035: capture x2goruncommand debug output for x2gofeature X2GO_XSESSION

Package: x2goserver Version: 4.0.1.19 Tags: patch Hello, I had recently had a problem with my /etc/xprofile file that prevented session startup. The details are not too important; it had to do with a difference of default shell (/bin/sh) being either /bin/dash or /bin/bash. After enabling the 'debug' loglevel on the server, I still had no helpful output indicating what the problem might be... I did some ferreting about and noticed that x2goruncommand was not capturing cmd output when using x2gofeature X2GO_XSESSION (/etc/x2go/Xsession). The client side invocation of x2goruncommand (via sshlib) redirects remote command output to /dev/null, so it is also not preserved when using the client's --debug option... This small patch appends the missing output to an already existing debug file in x2goruncommand ($MESSAGE_FILE). With this in place, I was able to see the "smoking gun": cat ~/.x2go/C-user-50-1463156913_stD.Xclients_dp24/cmdoutput exec /root/.Xclients Loading profile from /etc/profile Loading profile from /root/.profile Loading profile from /etc/xprofile /etc/xprofile: 14: Bad substitution <-- whoop! Bug#1012: Session reconnect doesn't work (x2gobroker)

I can confirm this bug, but the problem is not with all x2gobroker, the resume problem become when you use ssh broker. In my setup, when client connect with --broker-url=https://XXXX.XXXX.XXXX:8080/plain/inifile, all work fine and resume is working. But when same clients connect with same credentials to the same broker with x2goclient --broker-url=ssh://XXXX.XXXX.XXXX/usr/bin/x2gobroker --broker-autologin, all work fine but resume is not working, all connection open a new session :S. I cant debug with ssh broker :(. Bug#1226: x2goclient for Mac OS immediately throws error regarding "PulseAudio verison number" then crashes

Package: X2GoClient_latest_macosx_10_9 Version: 4.1.0.0 Steps taken to produce the bug: Ran x2goclient.app, immediately get error upon initialization. Exact error message: > Error fetching PulseAudio version number! Unexpected format encountered. Expected: I expected x2goclient to initialize normally without an error message. What actually happened: x2goclient shows me the regular user interface with the pop-up error message. After selecting "Okay" it crashes. This was not an issue before, seemingly began happening spontaneously. I have attempted to reboot my machine, and reinstalled x2goclient and XQuartz to no avail. I have attached the full bug report. I'm not sure why it is attempting to fetch a PulseAudio version number, this is not on my machine and I had not yet attempted to connect to my server before receiving the error. OS: Mac OS X 10.11.6 Thanks! Sean

Bug#1213: Missing icons in Eclipse toolbars with GTK2 in Published Apps mode

Package: x2goserver Version: 4.1.0.0-0~1413~ubuntu16.04.1 Running Eclipse with GTK2 backend in Published Apps mode leads to missing icons in the toolbars. They refreshed once you pass the mouse over or switch from one perspective to another so it's not too annoying but that's not great. This doesn't happens with GTK3.
