Question about x2goclient xinerama

Hello, while testing my xinerama re-implementation I noticed that x2goclient reports a wrong width sometimes when simply moving the window without changing the size. The reported size differs by one pixel (too much or too little). Interestingly my patched x2goagent (that completely ignores xinerama.conf) sees that value. So I conclude that x2goclient is manipulating the nxproxy window size by one pixel itself. Disabling xinerama in the session's configuration fixes the problem. Bug#402: Numlock issues

Package: x2goserver Version: 4.0.1.12-0x2go2+git20140108.809+wheezy.main.1 Hello, numlock does not behave correctly. It behaves like if it was randomly and continuously toggling it state. Happens when numlock key is pressed, and after some time, it seems to stabilize in some state (on or off), but it can take some time. Happens on Mate 1.6 desktop environment over Debian 6. No problem on same host with a KDE session. Bug#694: Another workaround

After years this important issue is still there... On debian jessie one can do: Change /etc/systemd/system/printer.target.wants/cups.service from PrivateTmp=true to PrivateTmp=false I don't really see a necessity for a private tmp anyway ... **** Apart from the workaround, I would say: why use /tmp for the spool area mount points on the server side in the first place? The directories are being owned by the respective user anyway. Why not use the user's home directory under ~/.x2go? Then this problem would be solved without touching x2goserver-printing nor cups-x2go nor the operating system (see the workaround). Chris P.S.: My lack of knowledge: why has the printing be divided in cups-x2go and x2goserver-printing? Why not one package?

Bug#1058: Option to force new session when suspended session is present

package: x2goclient priority: wishlist Hi, currently, when a suspended session is present and the parameters match the ones specified on the connection that is about to be established, it is silently assumed that a reconnect should take place. We are thinking how this could be changed in a way that doesn't break the current expected behavior, yet still allows forcing a new session in parallel to the suspended one. Possible options: Adding ... - a command line parameter - a per-session setting - a global setting - some hack like - right-clicking the tile - right-clicking the OK button - an option in the pull-down menu of the tile ... to enforce a parallel connection when desired. The solution we would currently prefer is: - *always* show the reconnect dialog when a suspended session is present - *if* there is exactly one matching session - preselect it - add a countdown timer to the OK button - once the countdown hits 0, pretend OK was pressed, and resume the session - any click anywhere else aborts the countdown - make 15 seconds the default value for the countdown - add a global parameter (CLI and GUI) to set it to another value (0 equals "never assume reconnect") - add command line options --always-assume-reconnect and --never-assume-reconnect (alternatively, allow -1 for the global parameter and treat that as "always assume reconnect", and forget these two command line options) Does anyone else have suggestions regarding this? We have a customer willing to pay for improvements here, but would like to channel the wisdom of the masses before implementing it. Maybe someone has an idea that would be even better? Package: japsand.x2go.org Severity: important Hi Mihai, Heinz, since a couple of days (maybe since yesterday only), the host japsand.x2go.org tries to contact my mail server (which acts as a mail relay) over IPv6. I have just white-listed japsand's IPv6 address, but the next problem arises then: japsand.x2go.org does not have an AAAA record in DNS. Please add this line to x2go.org's named configuration: ``` japsand.x2go.org.
