Package: japsand.x2go.org Severity: important Hi Mihai, Heinz, since a couple of days (maybe since yesterday only), the host japsand.x2go.org tries to contact my mail server (which acts as a mail relay) over IPv6. I have just white-listed japsand's IPv6 address, but the next problem arises then: japsand.x2go.org does not have an AAAA record in DNS. Please add this line to x2go.org's named configuration: ``` japsand.x2go.org. Bug#84: DESTDIR and OPTFLAGS patches for nx-libs

Package: nx-libs Patches attached for nx-libs: - bin/Makefile doesn't support DESTDIR. The attached nx-libs-destdir.patch partially addresses that. - The various nx*/configure.in files do not honor passed in compiler flags. The attached nx-libs-optflags.patch fixes that. Bug#78: NX_xrandr lacks support from Xrandr 1.2 and higher

Package: x2goagent When starting a new x2go session, the startup scripts modify the LD_LIBRARY_PATH of all applications to include /usr/lib/nx/X11/Xrandr. This replaces the system libXrandr with the NX/X2go provided one. Bug#908: nxagent segfault, causes session loss

Package: nxagent Version: 3.5.0.32-0~668~ubuntu14.04.1 Severity: important Dear nxagent coders, Over the last couple of weeks I have lost a few x2go sessions which is, you can imagine, annoying. I thought it was just a rare bug and I was unlucky, but today it happened again so I have collected what I can. It seems that when I try to connect to a running session there is *sometimes* a crash of nxagent. Not always, but when it happens x2go terminates the session. I do not know why x2go terminates the session - surely it should allow me to retry the connect? Anyway, everything in that session is lost, so this problem is fatal as well as annoying. The connection is to localhost, so there's no network failure (despite the suggestion of the error message). I hope this isn't a problem with the latest nx 3.5.0.32 ... :-/ please let me know how I can help any further. many thanks! Help with x2goclient's sshd_config

Hi guys, Background: I am trying to fix bug #1002 completely; there appear to be multiple underlying bugs. One of them is that unless I start x2goclient from a cygwin shell, cygwin sshd doesn't actually listen its port. Anyway, at the moment I am trying to make x2goclient start sshd with debug logging when x2goclient is launched with --debug, but I am unable to do so. Every time I launch x2goclient, sshd_config is regenerated without the debug line. I've tried 2 different approaches, you can see them below. Bug#1038: Running virt-manager disconnects entire x2go session

Package: x2goserver Version: 4.0.1.19-0~1064~ubuntu16.04.1 When I try to run the virt-manager application from an x2go session in single application mode, the entire x2go session appears to crash and is abruptly disconnected. I am inclined to blame this problem on x2go and not virt-manager because of the following: * virt-manager runs just fine without issue under these conditions: * Running under x2go when using a window manager like jwm or icewm. * Running under tightvncserver with xrdp. * Regular X11 forwarding over SSH of virt-manager using MobaXterm. It is only when it is used with x2go in single application mode that there are problems. * Even if it is a virt-manager issue, it seems to me that a misbehaving application should not cause the entire x2go session to die. Steps to reproduce: 1. NOTE: Tested from within an Ubuntu 16.04 LXD container on Ubuntu 16.04 host. 2. Install virt-manager package; I used latest 1:1.3.2-3ubuntu1.16.04.1 3. Install X2Go Server as per http://wiki.x2go.org/doku.php/doc:installation:x2goserver I used 4.0.1.19-0~1064~ubuntu16.04.1 4. Also you should have some terminal installed, e.g. rxvt-unicode-256color package. 5. On a client Windows PC running X2Go Client 4.0.5.0, set up connection, noting the following: a. Session type: pick Single application, and "Terminal" from drop-down. 6. Go ahead and connect. At the terminal, type: virt-manager Expected behavior: virt-manager should open without incident. Actual behavior: The rxvt console window disappears. virt-manager does not open. My connection is disconnected and I get the following error: --------------------------- X2Go - 50 --------------------------- The connection with the remote server was shut down. Bug#227: Slashes in username

Like Rob, I also have the same problem with backslashes in the username, which arise when winbind is used to integrate with Active Directory. For example, DOMAIN\username will result in this error: 1. Run X2Go Windows client. 2. Connect to server with DOMAIN\username. 3. Get this error upon logging on: --------------------------- Error --------------------------- <b>Connection failed.</b> Cannot create remote file ~DOMAIN\username/.x2go/ssh/key.e32140 - scp status code 1d not valid --------------------------- OK --------------------------- That is with X2Go client 4.0.5.0 for Windows.
