Package: x2goclient Version: 4.0.5.2 (though, presumably, all versions should be affected) On line 1100 of src/sshmasterconnection.cpp, consider the line: > ssh_private_key prkey=privatekey_from_file(my_ssh_session, keyName.toLatin1(), 0,""); If keyName.toLatin1() is not an existing file, you'll get an invalid pointer free. This might be a bug in libssh, but it took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out what was wrong, so others might be similarly confused. Thanks

Bug#799: x2golistdesktops - ss options

So, it appears to be well known that 'ss -lxu' has been broken on some systems and returns nothing. This is currently true on EL 7.2 though appears fixed in 7.3 beta. However, why is -u being passed to ss in the first place? We're doing: my $lines=system_capture_stdout_output("ss", "-lxu"); my @lines=split("\n", "$lines"); my @outp = grep ( /(@| )\/tmp\/.X11-unix\/X.*/, @lines); for(my $i=0;$i<@outp;$i++) { ... so we're filtering the output of ss for lines that look like unix sockets (/tmp/.X11-unix/X*), so -lx is appropriate. But why use '-u' to show UDP sockets? Bug#1093: x2goclient on OS X not finding MacPorts xmodmap executable in /opt/local/bin then crashes

Package: x2goclient Version: X2Go Client v. 4.0.5.2 (Qt - 4.8.7) Operating System: OS X El Capitan version 10.11.6 Tags: macos osx x2goclient xmodmap path I have installed the latest x2goclient package on OS X El Capitan using MacPorts. I have also installed the MacPorts xorg-server and xmodmap packages. In my user account .profile script, MacPorts has added the following line to set the PATH variable: export PATH="/opt/local/bin:/opt/local/sbin:$PATH" I have confirmed that xmodmap exists in one of these directories, in: /opt/local/bin When attempting to connect to any X2Go session, an error dialog appears with the following message before the application crashes: xmodmap failed to start. This likely means the binary is not available. The current search path is: /usr/bin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/opt/X11/bin X2Go Client will now terminate. It appears that /opt/local/bin is not being searched for xmodmap, despite its presence in the PATH variable of my user account .profile script. I even attempted to reboot before starting x2goclient in case the PATH variable needed to be re-read, but the error did not change. This is preventing me from using the OS X x2goclient application.

Bug#1091: 'Xset: Unable to open display' prevents connection

Package: x2goserver Version: 4.0.1.19 I have a Linux Mint 18 x2go client and a Debian Testing x2go server. And I update both at random intervals. Things just worked for ages. I think I went from Linux Mint 15 to 18. Debian is also really uptodate. Then at one moment - I don't exactly know when because I don't use x2go daily - I started getting this error message. Connection failed. xset: unable to open display "" http://i.imgur.com/Z6yQb4R.png This sounds like one of those xorg errors you get when doing x stuff while not logged into a virtual terminal, but in the case of x2go, I use the magic but don't know how it works, so I have no idea where to start looking. Client machine: Linux Mint 18 (AKA Ubuntu 16.04) x2goclient 4.0.5.1-1 pyhoca-gui 0.5.0.4-1* pyhoca-cli 0.5.0.2-1* Server: Debian Testing x2go-server 4.0.1.19-0x2go2+git20160621.1064+stretch.main.1 x2goserver-xsession 4.0.1.19-0x2go2+git20160621.1064+stretch.main.1 nxagent 2:3.5.0.32-0x2go1+git20160614.734+stretch.main.1 *) Never heard of there. I don't think I ever installed them. I figured I didn't have them installed before so I installed them now. Didn't fix my problem though.

X2Go Server on Raspberry Pi

Hello Everyone! It is possible to build Debian Packages of X2GoServer/NX-Libs on ARM7 (takes about 1 hour on a RPi3). Session shadowing of :0 didn't work in our tests - this might either be due to some client-side hiccup, or due to the Raspi doing weird things for the local video output, that our session shadowing is unable to catch. Further testing is needed, same goes for shadowing actual X2Go sessions. Upcoming Deprecation of EOL Distributions

Hi In order to lower resource stress when building packages, I plan to deprecate support for distributions that have reached End Of Life on September 4th 2016. This includes the following distro versions: - Debian: o 6.0 "squeeze" - Fedora o 19 o 20 o 21 o 22 - OpenSuSE o 12.2 o 12.3 o 13.1 - SuSE Linux Enterprise Desktop (not Server!) o 11.2 o 11.3 After deprecation, no new builds will be published and existing builds will be deleted from the repositories to discourage users from installing unmaintained software. Patch for libssh and x2go for ssh-forwarding

Hi, sorry for the delay, I had promised that some time ago, but my friends, who wrote the patch, where really busy with tasks of higher priorities before they where able to check-read their patches. To enable ssh forwarding (connecting to the ssh agent) on x2go it takes two patch sets, one for libssh and one for x2go.
