Bug#944: Session restore on multi-monitor Windows 10

Package: x2goclient Version: 4.0.5.0 I have 3 monitors, 1 and 2 are 1920x 1200 and 3 is 2560 x 1600, and I am running Windows 10. Monitor 1 is the Windows 'primary' display, and is the left hand of 1 and 2. I set my remote session to be display 2 (use whole display), Xinerama extension not enabled. I am connecting to Ubuntu 14.04 with Mate installed. I also connect to Linux Mint Mate 17 (i.e. the same Ubuntu version). When I connect for the first time, it performs correctly, with the session taking up the whole of display 2, although the taskbar icon is the X server icon, not the x2go X icon. If I then suspend the session and then connect to it again, the X client does not come up full screen on display 2. Instead it comes up as a non-maximised window with title bar and occupying all of display 1 and one third of display 2. The client inside with window has the correct 1920x 1200, and so the MATE taskbar is off the bottom, and the one third of display 2 is just grey background (all the client is on display 1). If I move the window to display 2, I can maximise it there, but I can't get rid of the title bar. Because the client is still dimensioned to the display, the image is shifted down by the title bar size, so the MATE taskbar is inaccessible.

PS: If you manually add R/W access (chmod +rw) to ~/media/disk/_cygdrive_C_Temp/, then you can access the directory itself, but you still can't access any file inside. Unless you manually chmod every single file inside.

Bug#942: File sharing permission issue between Windows and Linux

However, if file sharing directory on Windows client is set out of the above scope (e.g. "C:\foobar"), then it can't be accessed on Linux server due to lack of r/w permission. Package: x2goclient Version: 4.0.5.0-1 Severity: wishlist Would it be possible for x2goclient to store a multi-line "comment" field in each session preferences? It is a convenient place for the user to store some info as to why/how some prefs were set, some target host info (for people like me who have many clients), usage tips for that session, etc... Not a high-priority item but it would increase ease of use. thanks! this is also Debian bug #744329

Bug#348: Keyboard works with newer version of X11

I was having difficulty with the keyboard working with x2go 4.0.4.0 using X11 2.6.5 on OS X (specifically, the ctrl key was not working). Changing settings in the X11 preferences did not have any effect. Upgrading to XQuartz 2.7.7 appears to have resolved the issue for me. Bug#112: Possible solution

Hi to all of you, I may have found a solution for those who have a full size keyboard: try to switch the Num Lock off while connected to the remote machine. To do so, press: shift + clear The clear button contains a rectangle with a big x con it, on a full size mac keyboard is right above the 7 key on the numeric keypad. For the owners of a small size keyboard try to google on the internet how to switch off the num lock on your keyboard. Hope this helps. It worked for me. Best regards, Alessandro
