Bug#529: X2Go crashes X on SL6.4 from SL6.4 client

Package: nxagent Version: X2Go 4.0.2.0 The issue is that, after xterm window is launched, any attempt to use the keyboard in that xterm causes the xserver to die and the x2go session to terminate. This happens with emacs as well. Both tested while using the icewm-session desktop. The x2go program doesn't crash. The errors in .xsession-errors file are: Window manager warning: Invalid WM_TRANSIENT_FOR window 0x7800011 specified for 0x780000f (X2Go - 61). Window manager warning: Invalid WM_TRANSIENT_FOR window 0x7800011 specified for 0x780000f (X2Go - 71). In the changelog (and the commit message): - Fix "fullscreen" mode on Windows 7 with several monitors. You mean 2 or more monitors, correct? If so, the text should be changed to: - Fix "fullscreen" mode on Windows 7 with multiple monitors. Because literally, "several" means "more than 2," or "more than 3", depending upon the definition. In preparation for the upcoming release of X2Go Client 4.0.2.1, a preview build of X2Go Client for Windows is available for download under: http://code.x2go.org/releases/binary-win32/x2goclient/previews/4.0.2.1/ It is based on commit 093543e (which fixed bug #522) and the default build is the same as the nightly build 2014.06.27 (except for the updated version string in add/remove programs and the filename.) There are also the miscfonts, fullfonts, and debug build available: http://code.x2go.org/releases/binary-win32/x2goclient/previews/4.0.2.1/non-… You can read the changelog about what has changed. Bug#496: Some Investigation

I just tried out VcXsrv-xp 1.14.3.2 on its own, not with X2Go. I launched an XDMCP session using "XLaunch" in "One large window" mode. I also tried out Cygwin X11 on its own. I ran "X -query <hostname>", which appears to be the same as what I did in XLaunch. Results: Whether I am at the gdm login screen, or I am logged into the gnome2 session (centos 6.5), VcXsrv does not respond to ctrl+alt+F. Conclusion: ctrl+alt+F must be an X2Go-specific feature, not a common Xwin feature.

nx-libs patches have not been applied in some of the x2goclient win32 releases

Hi Developers, Notice these instructions on the wiki about building nxproxy. I have never updated them: http://wiki.x2go.org/doku.php/wiki:development:build-howto-mswin:x2goclient… I just realized that if you follow these instructions, which have you download from git, none of the patches are applied. So I think that nxproxy (nx-libs-lite) is only at version 3.5.0, not 3.5.0.27. I just compiled 3.5.0.27 from the patched tarball and updated the X2Go-WinBuilder's files.I then triggered a jenkins build manually.
