Sound like this issue has been reported before: #139. Thus, merging these bug reports with one another. The current problem about the Mac OS version of X2Go Client is that the upstream developers (Alex and Mike, mainly) do not have a Mac hardware at hand to get issues like this one fixed. If someone can permanently provide us with hardware (or contract us so that we can buy some Mac OS X capable device), it will make it much more likely that Mac OS issues get fixed in a much quicker way. MATE support in X2Go

Hi all, I have (over night) added MATE support to X2Go [1,2,3]. I esp. want to make the developers aware of a new project component: x2gomatebindings (a fork of the x2gognomebindings component) [4]. Due to lack of dependencies in Debian/Ubuntu, the x2gomatebindings package has to be built from source for now, packages are not in our .deb archives, yet. Bug#270: xinerama.conf sometimes contains bogus

It would appear that gnome-terminal in GNOME 3.8 returns immediately and runs in background, whereas the previous versions did not do so. Consequently, IMEXIT="false" should be set for gnome-terminal in the "TERMINAL" switch in x2goruncommand. If not, the terminal window appears on client for a second, then closes and the session is proclaimed to be finished. Patch attached.
