Bug#108: Missing fonts in X application

Package: x2goclient Setup: X2go server on Ubuntu 12.10, client on Win7 Issue: One of our CAD application displays unreadable text. When trying to select another font, only one is available. xlsfonts also reports only a few fonts. The application works fine locallyor when using a Linux X2go client and xlsfonts shows a long list of fonts. How to solve: Install the 'font' directory from the VcXsrv mainline package. After that, the application shows readable text and provides a large selection of alternative fonts. I think it would be good to bring the Windows and Linux client closer by shipping a more complete VcXsrv with it or at least offering the option.

Bug#122: x2goclient takes about 30s to detect if application was closed

Package: x2goclient Version: 4.0.0.3 I forward a single application using from Ubuntu 12.04 to Windows 7. When I close this application, the window disappears almost instantly. But x2goclient continues to show the session as active for about 30s after I closed the application. I tested this with gedit and kdiff3. The server uses x2goserver 4.0.0.0-0~640~precise1.

Bug#169: Usability: Too easy to start a session by clicking anywhere in the profile box

Package: x2goclient Version: 4.0.0.3 It's a little too easy to start a session in the X2Go client window. A click anywhere in a profile box (it's sort of a gian button) will start a session, unless one clicks on one of the narrow setting lines or the lower right-hand pull-down-menu triangle. If I'm aiming for one of those spots but miss, a session starts. I'd rather not have the whole profile box sensitive like that. A "Connect" button or icon would be a little safer. I also remember the first time I tried to use X2GoClient, I was surprised there was no "Connect" button, and had to guess that a click on the profile box would start a session.

Package: X2Go client Version: 4.0.0.3 On Windows 7 the following events are logged to the Event Log every time the X2Go client starts: Info event: sshd: PID 6072: Server listening on 0.0.0.0 port 7022. Error event: sshd: PID <nnnn>: error: Couldn't create pid file "/var/run/sshd.pid": No such file or directory Obviously, there is no /var/run on Windows. Is there a way to stop sshd.exe from logging this error? -- rpr.

Bug#206: When a user ends pyhoca-gui, the session cannot be resumed

package: pyhoca-gui Severity: normal Version: 0.4.0.1 When a user ends pyhoca-gui by right-clicking on the icon and selecting "exit", the application exits OK, however when a session is still active, that session cannot be resumed. What happens is that when one restarts pyhoca-gui and that connection, pyhoca-gui indicates that it will resume the session, however, nothing happens and the session is quietly killed.
