Hi all,
as in past years, the X2Go Team plans to present X2Go with a booth at
LinuxTag (LinuxDay) in Berlin (May 22nd -- 25th 2013).
Alex and Heinz plan to go to Berlin and they are looking for two more
official persons supporting them at the X2Go booth (the rule at
Berlin's LinuxTag is: you come with four people!!!).
Unfortunately, I myself won't be available in May (as I am buying a
house with my family and that has precendence!!!).
Please contact Heinz-Markus Graesing directly via mail [1] if you are
interested and willing to support the X2Go project at our booth.
Thanks to all you support X2Go, hope to meet you on some other Linux
event in 2013 (possibly DebConf 2013 in Switzerland?),

Hey there,
it's GSOC proposla time [1]. IMO this is something we should think
about, but the decision should probably be made by the core devs (I'd be
willing to mentor, though). Currently the following comes to my mind:
* Migrate to pixman (this might be a bit too much)
* Fix Cairo (This must be joint with the cairo guys, as it involves
fixing stuff on out side as well as theirs)
* Fix GLX (I have no idea how much effort this ist)
Cheers
Morty

Hi all,
I have handed the baton (German: Staffelstab) of the X2Go i18n team
coordination over to Terje Anders.
Terje--in the future--will collect all sent-in i18n patches and apply
them to X2Go Git. The first training session Terje has just now
successfully absolved.
So the i18n workflow from now on will be:
o developers code...
o developers think it's time for a release
o developers will coordinate a call for translation with Terje (on
x2go-i18n ML)
o the call for translation is shouted into the woods...
o translators will then update their translations
o Terje will collect all the patches for .po and .ts files and apply them to
upstream X2Go Git.
o Terje will report back to the developers once all translations have arrived
o developers will do a new release
Greets,
Mike

Hi Devs!
As instructed by Mike, I'm sending my proposed changes for the French
translation of x2godesktopsharing.git along with what I'd use as
commit command.
"git diff" = http://paste.debian.net/hidden/24e825f9/
commit command (mind the line-break):
git commit -a -m "Add French translation file." --author "Frédéric
Motte <frederic.motte(a)liazo.fr>"
If my proposed changes are accepted, I'll commit & push tomorrow.
Best regards,
Terje

Hi,
when I use Komodo (or the free Komdo edit http://www.activestate.com/komodo-edit/downloads <http://www.activestate.com/komodo-edit/downloads> ) via x2go I have an issue switching between tabs. As soon as I open a second file in a new tab and switching back to the first tab, the first tab stays blank. Only the content of the tab I opened last is shown, all other tabs are blank.
This occurs regardless if I use windows or linux client. On the server I have x2go 4 (from the opensuse repository) . All other applications work well.
Any idea how this can be fixed?
Thanks & Regards
Gerald
