locale problem

I have a problem with the locale in my client session. I have set the locale on my remote client and on the server to "de_DE.UTF-8". This also works well in OpenNX sessions but with X2goclient I see within the client session nothing translated into German due to the locale not applied well. parec?

Hi Alex, Mike(?) I just saw parec running and producing unneeded traffic. In onmainwindow.cpp:10577ff it says: QString scmd="PULSE_CLIENTCONFIG=~/.x2go/C-"+ resumingSession.sessionId+ "/.pulse-client.conf "+ "parec 1> /dev/null & sleep 1 && kill %1"; What is the rationale behind this code? findbusyservers algorithm

Hi Mike, I now have a somewhat working setup of load-balanced login with the broker: Broker: x2go-broker.dsl.lan Terminal servers: testterm1.dsl.lan and testterm2.dsl.lan All are virtualized Ubuntu 12.04 servers. However, everytime we login we end up on testterm1. We can login directly to both servers without any problems. We have tried setting testterm1 to calculate pi and logged a bunch of users into it, to try and add load to have the algorithm choose the other server, but it just isn't happening. Is this a bug? x2gobroker without auth

Hi Mike, Default behavior for x2gobroker and x2goclient in broker mode seems to be to first authenticate against the broker and then whatever terminal server the user ends up connecting to. This means the user ends up having to type in his/her username and password twice. Not a nice user experience. Either it shouldn't authenticate to get the available sessions or it should remember the username/password and try it when authenticating against the chosen server. Until the latter might be possible, I would like to turn off authentication to get the session information. It seems to me that this information is fairly safe to be publicly available. I have set check-credentials = false in x2gobroker.conf, but the client still prompts the user for a username/password. You can just hit enter twice at that dialog, but it still isn't an acceptable user experience. X2go server on kubuntu 12.10 - X Error: BadAccess

Hi, I just installed x2go server in kubuntu 12.10 x64 and can connect without problems. Problem is when I tryed to run something app using kdesudo o sudo I allways get: X Error: BadAccess (attempt to access private resource denied) 10 Extension: 129 (MIT-SHM) Minor opcode: 1 (X_ShmAttach) Resource id: 0x4000010 X Error: BadShmSeg (invalid shared segment parameter) 128 Extension: 129 (MIT-SHM) Minor opcode: 5 (X_ShmCreatePixmap) Resource id: 0x40000ab X Error: BadDrawable (invalid Pixmap or Window parameter) 9 ... ... ... And only can see the app's windows with a full grey color inside. If the app background got more than one colour I can see them but no controls I can confirm the same issue in other kubuntu 12.10 server updated from 12.04 I'm using x2goserver from stable x2go ppa.
