Package: nxagent Hi folks This is aretry of my bug report. Why not just use a bugtracker like trac? I did have a line with Package: . Well, this is another try, the previous content: I use X2Go on Scientific Linux, which is very similar to CentOS. After a recent regular update I encountered a dependancy issue: Error: Package: nxagent-3.5.0.17-3.1.x86_64 (X11_RemoteDesktop_x2go) Requires: xorg-x11-fonts-core The mentioned package seems to only exist on Suse. Package: nx-libs Version: 3.5.0.20 Tag: rpm-packages Hi Jan, 23:31 < masc88> hello. nx-3.5.0.20 appears to introduce corruption within server side session file and communication protocol 23:32 < masc88> on session resume in conjunction with freenx. is this a known issue? 23:33 < masc88> I had to downgrade to nx-3.5.0.17 to stabilize resuming of sessions obviously there is a problem with FreeNX / X2Go if nx-3.5.0.20 is installed. I assume that the installation is on an RPM based system (because the .deb packages do not have a package named nx). Bug#276: qt/kde applications does not work as root.

Package: x2goclient Version: 4.0.1.0 When I start qt/kde applications on the x2go server via the x2goclient, I get a grey application and a lot of error messages in the konsole. A workaround seems to be to change the graphicssystem to native instead of raster. Bug#108: Missing fonts in X application

Package: x2goclient Setup: X2go server on Ubuntu 12.10, client on Win7 Issue: One of our CAD application displays unreadable text. When trying to select another font, only one is available. xlsfonts also reports only a few fonts. The application works fine locallyor when using a Linux X2go client and xlsfonts shows a long list of fonts. How to solve: Install the 'font' directory from the VcXsrv mainline package. After that, the application shows readable text and provides a large selection of alternative fonts. I think it would be good to bring the Windows and Linux client closer by shipping a more complete VcXsrv with it or at least offering the option.
