published applications - currently not Xinerama support

Hi Alex, hi devs, do I see it right that currently published applications lack xinerama support? LD_LIBRARY_PATH is not set to /usr/lib/nx/X11/Xinerama for applications launched as pub apps. My vote here would be to introduce a server-side script that calls the published application. In this script we then can set any env variable needed (like LD_LIBRARY_PATH) before the published application starts. I disrecommend setting such variables within the application call on the client-side. Opinions? LD_LIBRARY_PATH with Ubuntu precise

Hi Alex, picking up an X2Go-User ML issue here. I installed a Ubuntu precise system and stumbled over two problems: o Single applications fail(ed) to work completely o Desktop sessions can only be launched when the x2goserver-xsession package is installed. x2go in Chroot

Hi All: We've seen some posts about trying to use x2go to connect into a chroot environment (e.g., http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.linux.terminal-server.x2go.user/516) but could not determine if anyone had successfully found a way to make this work. Our understanding is we can set up an entire Ubuntu Desktop environment inside of chroot. Could we also install x2go server inside of this environment and connect via x2go? If anyone has a procedure for doing this, please share? Thanks and best, Ted

Temporary PulseAudio directory under `/tmp/` created by root

Dear X2go folks, I am trying to find out what package does try to connect to PulseAudio during system start up leaving a temporary directory `/tmp/pulse-XXXXXXXXXXXX` [1]. Could that be the result of running the init script `/etc/init.d/x2goserver`? This is a Debian Sid/unstable system. Fwd: freerdp in x2go session fails -- saw Olexander's 2 mo. old email about applying a patch???

I am trying to use a FreeRDP remoteapp session inside of an x2go session. I x2goclient into remote ubuntu 12.04 server. On that ubuntu server I try to execute a Window's 2008 server's RemoteApp's that I have setup using a .sh script I built output displayed is: * * *$ ./run-remoteapp.sh loading plugin /usr/lib/freerdp/rail.so connected to 23.21.26.148.3389 X Error of failed request: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes) Major opcode of failed request: 1 (X_CreateWindow) Serial number of failed request: 36 Current serial number in output stream: 40* I did a google search and saw that this had been reported about 2 months ago and *Oleksandr Shneyder* had found the cause and built a "patch" which you can read about here: https://github.com/FreeRDP/FreeRDP/issues/465 Did this patch ever get applied to the newer x2go server/client as it seems the problem still exists? x2goclient feature request: Informational "Bubble" in Tray

Hi Alex, I would like to suggest a feature. Current situation: When x2goclient is set to minimize to the tray, and an automatic logon (--hide and a Public SSH key/active Agent) is performed, x2goclient goes straight to the tray. Combine that with a Published Application session, and you have no way of telling when the applications are available. The only way to tell the different stages of the login apart is by repeated right-clicking on the icon and looking at the available menu items (all greyed out, all but topmost item greyed out, all available). Would it be possible to add a bubble to the tray icon that displays "Connecting to X2Go server..." (or maybe even mention the session name), and a "Connection established!" once the connection has been established and the list of published applications has been downloaded to the client? -Stefan

Vasilica... You didn't say whether an actual x2gocllient (not the plugin) works ok or not? Hello Everyone, I have tested the last version of x2goplugin - 3.99.2.0 with last x2goserver from the stable ppa. x2goserver -- installed on Linux Mint 11 with Gnome. installed on Ubuntu 10.04 with LXDE. x2goplugin -- installed on Linux Mint 12 with Firefox 11 and Google Chrome 18.0.1025.151. -- installed on Linux Mint 11 with Firefox 11 -- installed on Ubuntu 10.04 with Firefox 11 Any combination of the two result in a plugin crash. The plugin successfully loads, ask for authorization, succeeds to ssh login, loads the active sessions, if there is any, but crashes after that.
