On git.x2go.org we host the master of X2Go code. The repositories
hosted there are used for generating the release tarballs.
Feel free to clone us on Github and use the infrastructure there for
development. However, pull requests with X2Go work in the old
fashioned way:
Send a mail to our bugtracker:
"""
From: <you>
To: submit(a)bugs.x2go.org
Subject: <describe your fix/patch here>
Package: <x2go Git project your patch is for>
Severity: <how severe is the issue?> (wishlist, minor, normal, serious, grave,
critical)
Version: <a.b.c.d, HEAD, ...>
Tags: patch
<describe the issue discovered,
"""
Don't forget to attach your patches generated with git format-patch.
Thanks+Greets,
Mike

Hi Alex,
when opening the ,,Configuration'' in the X2Go Plugin, and then select
the Advanced Settings (Erweiterte Einstellungen), one can see the
DirectRDP settings for non-DirectRDP sessions.
I guess it would make sense to disable DirectRDP for X2Go Plugin, wouldn't it?
Greets,
Mike

Package: x2goplugin
Severity: normal
Version: 3.99.3.0-prerelease
Hi Alex,
I have added a package to x2goclient: x2goplugin-provider. If you
install this package (with apache2), you can open a demo plugin site
with this URL:
http://localhost/x2goplugin.html
The x2goplugin gets openend and an XFCE session (Debian wheezy default
desktop) should get started on host localhost (which should basically
work, if x2goserver is installed locally).
However, when starting a session, I receive an error message:
"""
Failed to resolve hostname (Der Name oder der Dienst ist nicht bekannt)
"""
Either the error is in the x2goplugin code or in my x2goplugin.html:
http://code.x2go.org/gitweb?p=x2goclient.git;a=blob;f=provider/share/x2gopl…
Can you reproduce the reported issue with the latest
x2goplugin/x2goplugin-provider package? If yes, do you have a clue
what the reason for it is?
Greets,
Mike

OK, as Mike suggested to me on x2go-user. Hello.
As I've requested here
https://lists.berlios.de/pipermail/x2go-user/2012-November/001098.html
I'm interested in running x2go without the need of becoming root on the
server.
I cannot promise that I will make big contributions, but maybe I can
still somehow help.
First of all, I need an overview of x2go. Where should I start reading?

Contact git-admin(a)x2go.org with problems
Hi all,
the X2Go project is looking for someone who feels entitled to maintain
the French translation of X2Go software projects (e.g. X2Go Client,
PyHoca-GUI, ...).
There currently is no French translation in X2Go applications and we
would be happy to have that changed in the future.
Please contact me via one of our lists or even privately.
If you are interested in translating X2Go into your native language,
please subscribe to this list...
https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/x2go-i18n
... and ask for further instructions there.
Current translations looked after are:
Englisch
German
Russian
Svedish
Norwegian/Bokmal
Dutch (PyHoca-GUI only)
Spanish
Danish (X2Go Client only)
So anyone who wants to start working on his own language is very
welcome to the project (actually, everyone who wants to contribute to
X2Go is welcome ;-) ).
Thanks,
Mike

Hi all,
I would like to report a major problem affecting people using home
folder encryption (ecryptfs) and miscellaneous FUSE mounts.
When session suspended, user's folders got unmounted.
As result applications and services left in undefined state and that
might lead to severe results.
In addition to banal crashes, dropbox and friends might decide that
data was deleted locally and sync that to cloud!
I guess above related to the fact all pam sessions are closed during suspend.
Any ideas how to fix that?
P.S.
Previously NoMachine's server was available as a fallback.
But due to recent changes to libCairo
(http://bugs.x2go.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=16) it's currently
broken.
And I am not sure when and if at all, it's going to be fixed.
So currently there is no solution.
Thanks
Dear X2Go Devs,
