SSH Binaries

Trying to troubleshoot an issue and would like to ask where the SSH binaries which are delivered with the full client come from? Would somebody know whether there are any newer versions as they are from 2007. -- Thanks, Phil

Ubuntu to start moving off X-Window<http://blogs.computerworld.com/17303/ubuntu_abandons_x_server_for_wayland>and to OpenGL based Wayland <http://wayland.freedesktop.org/>. At least this will remove any xming problem on the clients eventually <g> I'm sure as usual, people will have the choice to use X or Wayland. Brian

Where is the NSIS installer script?

Hello, all. As we continue to explore X Server options for Windows, we anticipate needing to alter the installer. I assume we use NSIS but I could not find the .nsi script. I looked on Berlios, in http://x2go.obviously-nice.de/deb/, and in git.x2go.org. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks - John

Client 3.0.1-2 versus 3.0.1-4

Hello, all. We were thinking of using the Windows 3.0.1-2 client to experiment with using vcxsrv as the Windows X Server rather than Xming. I remember that there was an enormous performance improvement in our systems when we moved from -2 to -4. Indeed, we found -2 unusable and -4 just about as fast as Linux. Was the only change including a built-in Xming as per http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Xming/Building or were there other changes as well? Thanks - John

Disappearing Mouse on Windows 7

I've not seen this problem yet but I don't use my Windows 7 x2go client as much as my linux client. Just to not overlook the obvious... maybe this is a Windows 7 problem? I thought to go search for reported problems with Windows 7 and found the following: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/w7itproui/thread/46c91bbe-3cf… *My mouse pointer disappears after a few minutes of inactivity. When I toucih the mouse pad, a square appears with little blue dots appears for a second or two, then goes away. The mouse pointer at this point may or may not re-appear. If not, it takes a lot of moving the mouse around to get the pointer back.* * I know there is a trick, if you turn on mouse trails and set the trails to the lowest setting, it never disappears. BUT I have certain games which do not work with mouse trails on.* I don't know if the above is some "well-known" solution or not but that message lead me to Microsoft's own site and a search for "Windows 7 disappearing mouse" which returns many people reporting the problem: http://support.microsoft.com/search/default.aspx?mode=r&query=disappearing+… Whatever the solution for those of you having the problem I'd first see if the general Microsoft population is reporting the problem using some of the same hardware or Windows 7 settings that you have. Perhaps that will lead to a solution.
