x2go & Kerberos

Hey there, I'm having troubles with running x2go on ldap/kerberos-enabled Ubuntu machines. If I try to login via x2go to an account that's in the server's local /etc/passwd, everything works as expected. But if I try to login via x2go to an account that's not in the server's passwd, but in ldap/kerberos, the x2go white login dialog disappears, but nothing else happens. Running x2go from a terminal, I get this output: http://debian.pastebin.com/m20ae8e2d The last message is repeated indefinitely. With the same kerberiz'ed account I can locally login on the server machine just fine. Pam is configured as follows: common-account: http://debian.pastebin.com/f2780c0cc common-auth: http://debian.pastebin.com/f1a8f599c common-password: http://debian.pastebin.com/f7db1cc29 common-session: http://debian.pastebin.com/f4acfcf5e Using X2Go Client gtk-3.01-8 on Ubuntu 9.04 and 9.10. We are working on a new implementation of pulseaudio which will start an own instance for every user. This will be part of a new release which will include a input field for the client dpi value too. Thinclient doesn't work any more

Hi, after the package update the thinclient doesn't work any more. It boots up correctly and displays the X2GoClient-Login. But when I enter any credentials and press "OK" a white box appears (for a few milli seconds) and then I'm back to the login screen. How can I fix this? Best regards, Sven

Single client multiple silmultaneous server connections...

I've been running into some trouble and it seems like this is not possible. I'm using x2goserver on multiple servers (one at home, one at work) and it doesn't seem to be possible to connect to both at the same time. Is there a work around to allow this, or do I have to suspend one and resume the other all the time? The problem seems to be when the reverse ssh connection is set up. It always seems to use the same port (perhaps dependant on the remote display number, which is 50 on both machines I'm connecting to since I'm the only user). I apologize if this was already discussed on the list, but I couldn't find any info in the archives. Thanks, Doug

Moin ich hab es inzwischen geschafft das x1go läuft und auch das alle Einträge im LDAP vorhanden sind, so das der x2goclient nicht meckert. aber ich würde gerne wissen, wie ich per ldiff neue Server unter ou=server,ou=ON,... hinzufüge. da die kde tools ja leider unter kde4 den dienst verweigern und ich eh kein freund von kde bin ;)

x2go with windows vista

Hi Admins, this is my first post here. It is not possible to login. If I start the session and enter my password, the desktop remains blue with two images in the bottom corners. In the message box of Xwing appears, "There are currently 0 clients connected. Thanks for your help. Cheers --

X2go and Debian Etch

Hello, I have installed x2goserver on a Debian Etch machine and I added myself to the x2gousers group. But I cannot get contact from a client on Debian Lenny. I don't see an error. Is it possible to connect from a new client to a X2goserver on Debian Etch? Is it possible to install the X2go version for Lenny on Etch? With regards, Paul van der Vlis.
