Hi, so I think I have found at least one of the reasons why it's not working. I have just recognized that I have 62336 E-Mails in /var/mail :). Every single on with the following text: Subject: *** SECURITY information for GSN-EDU.GSN2 *** From: root <root(a)gsn-edu.gsn2> GSN-EDU.GSN2 : Okt 9 13:28:58 : root : user NOT in sudoers ; TTY=unknown ; PWD=/ ; USER=root ; COMMAND=/usr/bin/x2gopgwrapper listsessionsroot GSN-EDU So what do I missed?? x2goclient hangs on login

Hello list, this is my very first post to this list and Im quite sure a few will follow ;). Anyway I have a Problem with the configuration of X2goserver. Im finished with the LDAP stuff and so on and want to try it out now. But for some reason after logging in with the X2goclient it hangs right after clicking on "Ok". On serverside some processes starting up but nothing happens... I haven´t complete the PXE, ATFTPD and DHCP stuff and so on but the normal connect via x2goclient should work, right? Hi, ok I have added a picture of my processes to this mail. I hope that this is ok. Yes maybe its an LDAP related thing.. I will have a look into the logs later today and will report it soon. Hello Paul, even if the "pg" in the name shows the origen, the use of this operation is to drop broken sessions out of the database. This is done with pg dbs and sqlite. It's clear that you can run x2goserver without this cleaning, as long as you don't have broken sessions. Our libs are installed in /usr/lib/x2go, so they don't mix up with the QTNX libs. Of cause it would be a good idea to change this to fit to the debian rules. NXagent would be necessary only for x2goserver. We made some changes to NXagent so it can be used with our x2goclient on Maemo. Hi, Since Im new here, I will at first present myself. My name is Xavier Oswald, Im a debian developer living in Strasbourg - France, and I will help getting x2go in debian. I met Heinz last weekend during a debian-edu meeting and we get out what need to be done to be able to have x2go to debian, starting by the command line client and then going step by step with the others x2go tools. x2goserver-one

Hello, I've just installed x2goserver-one on a new server, and I see that this is starting x2gopgwrapper every 5 minutes via sudo. I think this is not neccessary, this is for PostgreSQL not for SQlite, or is this a wrong thought? After "/etc/init.d/x2goserver stop" everything works without a problem. Gentoo Ebuild x2goclient-gtk-3.01.6

Good Evening, I'm trying to create an ebuild for x2goclient-gtk-3.01-6 to extand the available ebuilds related to x2goserver at the nx overlay. The ebuild (a gentoo package file which tells the package-system how to compile and install the software) compiles fine. But if I try to start the client it terminates with "Cannot allocate memory" after a time. Before it uses 99% cpu-power, but nothing is shown. I added all related stuff, which I think, it can be useful. It's a strace output of x2goclient_gtk and the ebuild I created and the install log. So may be I'm missing a package dependencie or have installed some file on a wrong location. But this can be seen at the files. The only change I made at the source code is the uncomment of the sig++/compatability.h in main_window.cc. this change is done via the patch, which I also include. I also post the stuff at http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=249600. At this page is another error (comment 31) which is a little bit strange and I don't whether it may be have to do with our packages or it's a kind of bug of x2go. The problem is, the user starts xterm via x2go and than at the xterm he starts other programms. If he pause the session now, after a resume, all programs which are started with the xterms are not resumed, only the xterm. I'm thankful for any advice! Great rest sunday! Joachim Langenbach
