This is to announce a new release of X2Go Client for Windows: 4.1.0.0-2017.03.11

This is the 1st release of X2Go Client 4.1.0.0 for Windows.

The major Windows changes since 4.0.5.2-2016.09.20 are: - The uninstaller has been removed from the start menu. It is available via "Programs and Features", as it has been for 3 years. - Bug 1152, whereby Firefox stalls when sound is enabled and HTML5 videos are playing, has been fixed. (This bug was listed in the 4.1.0.0 notes as not being fixed.) - Multiple bundled dependencies have been updated/upgraded. - Multiple vulnerabilities have been fixed via those updates/upgrades.

As with most vulnerabilities in 3rd party software, the X2Go project has not done an analysis of whether X2Go Client was actually affected by these vulnerabilities. However, as a precaution, we strongly encourage all users to update.
