Dear all, the X2Go project is proud to announce a new release of the X2Go component ,,lightdm-remote-session-x2go''. New gains of this version of ,,lightdm-remote-session-x2go'' are: o This package is the X2Go remote login backend for Unity Greeter's remote login service. X2Go Component: lightdm-remote-session-x2go Version: 0.0.1.0 Status: RELEASE Date: Sat, 27 Apr 2013 13:49:02 +0200 Changes: lightdm-remote-session-x2go (0.0.1.0) RELEASED; urgency=low . * New upstream version (0.0.1.0): - Stop being a drop-in replacement for lightdm-remote-login-freerdp. Become an independent package that provides server type »x2go« to the remote-login-service. - Prepare for becoming able to use PyHoca-CLI _or_ X2Go Client for handling the X2Go session being launched via remote login. Dear all, the X2Go project is proud to announce a new release of the X2Go component ,,x2gobroker''. New gains of this version of ,,x2gobroker'' are: o Add UCCS-like WebUI frontend that turns X2Go Session Broker into a UCCS session broker. UCCS is a JSON based session broker protocol developed by Canonical Ltd. and it is used for the Remote Login feature in the Unity Greeter on Ubuntu workstations (included with 12.10 and newer) The UCCS WebUI frontend has been sponsored by Fleten.net in Denmark. Thanks for Kjetil in supporting the X2Go upstream development and trusting in our skills. X2Go Component: x2gobroker Version: 0.0.2.0 Status: RELEASE Date: Sat, 27 Apr 2013 12:20:22 +0200 Changes: x2gobroker (0.0.2.0) RELEASED; urgency=low . * New upstream version (0.0.2.0): - Add a UCCS-like web frontend UI that allows unity greeter to offer X2Go session logins. At the time of writing this, on the system running Unity Greeter it requires a patched remote-login-service (see LP:1172943, LP:1172318) and patched unity-greeter (LP:1172928, LP:1172877). Additionally the system running Unity Greeter requires the extra packages lightdm-remote-session-x2go and libpam-x2go. New gains of this version of ,,x2gobroker'' are: o Add a package (x2gobroker-wsgi) that configures X2Go Session Broker with Apache2 via WSGI o Thorough separation of the X2Go Session Broker Authservice from the rest of the broker (authservice runs as root, the rest as unpriv user) o Many many bug fixes (reported mostly by Anders Bruun Olson, THANKS!) o Bug closures: 154 170 171 172 175 176 180 The X2Go Session Broker development is currently sponsored by Fletennet.dk. This release is mainly a release for the MS Windows world: o Freeze utility now is bbfreeze (was: py2exe which has been unmaintained for a while). o The multiple notifications icons in the system tray have an end. All notifications are now bound to the main systray icon of PyHoca-GUI o The systray icon on Windows has changed: X2Go logo -> PyHoca logo o further details: see below in the changelog... X2Go Component: pyhoca-gui Version: 0.4.0.2 Status: RELEASE Date: Sun, 21 Apr 2013 22:45:46 +0200 Changes: pyhoca-gui (0.4.0.2) RELEASED; urgency=low . * New upstream version (0.4.0.2): - Make PyHoca-GUI aware of the Cinnamon desktop shell. - Make sure that there is no KeyException when checking/unchecking the restoreexports item in the shared folders menu. * MS Windows specific: + Use bbfreeze to freeze the Win32 version of PyHoca-GUI. + Make sure PyHoca-GUI freezing works with gevent 1.0b3 and later. + Freeze with gui_only enabled, hides the console Window PyHoca-GUI runs in. + Provide icon2exe.py for adding .ico files to .exe files.
