Hello,

I have the following situation:

I am running x2goserver 4.0.1.15 with MATE desktop. When connecting to it with x2goclient 4.0.2.0 running on an ubuntu laptop, I get proper sound being transmitted to the client.

When firing up a thinclient, which seems to be running x2goclient 4.0.2.1, there is not sound being transmitted to the client.

I have run padevchooser on the server, which correctly shows pulseaudio as connected to a sink on my thinclient hardware. I've also checked the alsa sound mixer on the thinclient, to make sure nothing is muted, and I have run "speaker-test" on the thinclient, which produces noise (so speakers and all that are working).

Now I'm not sure what to do next? Is there any way (other than perhaps doing a network packet capture) to determine whether the server (running pulseaudio client) is properly streaming sound to the thinclient (running the pulseaudio server) in the scenario where I don't hear sound?

Any other ideas or troubleshooting methods are appreciated.

Thank you!

Jean
