Hi Daniela,

Sorry to hear that you are running into this problem.

Let's see if VcXsrv (the client-side X server) can start on it's own
Open up command prompt and cd to the directory containing the X server:
64-bit Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\x2goclient\VcXsrv\
32-bit Windows: C:\Program Files\x2goclient\VcXsrv\
Then run this command to launch vcxsrv.exe in debug mode:
vcxsrv.exe -logverbose 3

See if you can launch it. (If X2Go did start working all of a sudden,
you'd need to exit any running x2go sessions 1st.) If it launches
successfully, you'll see a black root window open up and the taskbar
icon should appear. If so, right-click the taskbar icon and select
"show log". Attach the log to your email reply. You can then exit
VcXsrv.
If it does not launch successfully, it should probably tell you where
it saved the log. Attach the log to your email reply.

Also:
1. Did you upgrade your graphics driver recently?
2. Are you locally using this Windows 8.1 computer? In other words you
are not accessing it over Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection, or some
other remote desktop solution like NoMachine 4, right?
