[X2Go-User] Capture client-side error messages?

I'm attempting to setup x2go with Debian (wheezy) on an ec2-instance and 
the OS X client (this is my first attempt to use x2go).  I'm getting 
error messages, but the window that displays them closes after a one or 
two seconds, so I can't read them.  Is there a way to log the error 
messages with the OS X client? Or to keep the window open?
