I've seen that happen on Windows when you're using a fixed desktop size 
for the X2Go session, but not fullscreen mode.  Resizing the window 
helped.  Of course, if it happens to you in full-screen mode, you don't 
have a resize option.  Still, might be the same issue that we're both 
seeing.  I thought it had to do with a setting on my client that is 
different from an average Windows desktop, but maybe there actually is 
an X2Go issue behind it, since you seem to be experiencing the same on 
Mac OS.
