Another thought. We used to have a bug quite a while ago that forbid  
to use username with a dot (".") in them. For the core server code  
this had been fixed a while ago. However, I wonder, if that is still  
an issue with printing.

Could you test this:

   * create a login on the server with no dot in its login id
   * test X2Go printing
