I am not able to make compositing work in xfce. No transparency,
shadowing, etc. Not even the needed settings.
I'm thinking it has to do with this in .xsession-x2go-errors:
xfwm4-WARNING **: The display does not support the XComposite
extension.
Is there some way I can make this work?
Also my xfce sessions are not being saved when I terminate an x2go
window. I suspect this is because X is crashing on logout before the
session can be saved. Has anyone had this experience?
In .xsession-x2go-errors:
(xfce4-settings-helper:5597): xfce4-settings-helper-CRITICAL **: Your
XI
is too old (1.3) version 1.4 is required.
...
** (xfce4-session:5504): WARNING **: ICE connection 0x7fae284dce50
rejected
...
And a ton of these:
Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path: "pixmap"
It looks like the video is being detected as:

Does this not allow compositing?
