Hi Mike,

Thanks for your rapid response. I have placed some entries in the Wiki. The structure was not so clear to me. Man links to (x2goserver download, install etc.) pointed to the generic page for x2goserver which had no download and install sections. I have done my best to follow preexisting structure and added my information where possible.

I cannot check the git paths from work, but from memory the ones that didn't work were on the following page:
http://wiki.x2go.org/doku.php/wiki:development:build-howto-linux:x2goserver

How does the following comment fit in with the RPM builds? I see no x2goserver-xsession or x2goserver-extensions RPMs.

Also, if the remote server already has a desktop environment
installed then one more x2go package (besides x2goserver) must
now be installed on the server before the x2goclient can
    successfully initiate/start a remote desktop x2go session.

This additional x2go package is called x2goserver-xsession.
This must be installed for the x2goclient to successfully start
the remote desktop x2go session unless the x2goserver is intended
for use with the new x2go Published Apps capability (see NOTE below).

I will look into the runlevel issue when I have the chance. Do you have debugging documentation (i.e. locations of logfiles etc.)?

Best,

Burnce
