[X2Go-Dev] new version 4.1.1.0 from Mac still crashes to Fedora 26

In theory yes, but it fails at such an early stage that it's very unlikely, that
some other component is playing a big role in it.

nxagent opening its internal display needs all binary packages from its source
package and a way to set up credentials using xauth.

All of this seems to be available, since you've been able to spawn nxagent
manually before.


Another explanation for this behavior might be the socket in /tmp/.X11-unix not
existing or being accessible, but I guess that problem would have hit you with a
manual invocation of nxagent :23 as well.


There's also a slight possibility that the removal of libnxau in Arctica's
nx-libs version (with some code moves to libNX11) causes problems, but we
haven't seen a problem like this in other (though mostly Debian-based) setups yet.


The working server machine is able to run 3.5.99.7 from the copr repo correctly,
right?

Good enough for the process to access it.

The scheme doesn't differ, so if it were problematic, the issue would also show
up on the server machine. Given that it's not, we could assume that it's safe.
