Package: x2goclient
Version: 4.0.5.0

This is for a X2Go connection from Windows 7 to Fedora 20 or 22.

On Windows 7 configure the taskbar to be on the top:
- right mouse button click on empty space of taskbar
- click on Properties
- switch to Taskbar tab
- in 'Taskbar appearance' section set 'Taskbar location on screen:' to |Top|
- click [OK]

Then start X2Go client and configure a session profile.
I am using 'XFCE' desktop session.
Do not use 'fullscreen' resolution. Use '800x600' as resolution.

Now establish the X2Go connection.
The X2Go window of the remote computer does not honor the location of the taskbar.
The X2Go window of the remote computer starts to be drawn in the upper left hand screen.
However, the taskbar is in that position.
The X2Go window of the remote computer is drawn below the taskbar.

If you resize the X2Go window of the remote computer the window will be moved so it is not below the taskbar anymore.

Log off from the remote computer.
Change the resolution for the X2Go connection to 'Display 1'

Establish the X2Go connection again.

It is the same problem.
This time much better visible due to the large empty space at the bottom.
And you cannot resize the X2Go window.

The problem is reproducible with 'Taskbar location on screen:' set to |Left| as well.

I would like the X2Go window for remote computers to honor the position of the taskbar.
So the window is not drawn below the taskbar.

René
