The session broker works with python2.6, as well. The problem was,  
that I forgot to provide python-wsgilog for Debian squeeze in our  
package archive.

This has been fixed now. Please do not use python-wsgilog that has  
been built for wheezy. It probably causes the troubles you described  
below.
